Jocelyn & Curtis’ love story began in high school and it’s blossomed ever since into something special. They continued their relationship journey by moving in together after college and then purchasing their own home in the Southwestern Ontario countryside with their dog Camper and many backyard chickens. Their love for the country life, health, laughter & their families was evident throughout their entire day and we were so honoured to help tell their love story through this film.

Early in the planning process, Jocelyn shared with me of her Dad’s passing and that she would be remembering him on her wedding day by incorporating a photo charm of his picture into her bouquet. I wanted to share this important piece of her story in the film, and combined it with her mother’s moving speech to give honour to his role in her life. Throughout the speeches, both Jocelyn & Curtis’ families & friends shared so many touching memories, moments, and expressions of love - and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. You could tell that this couple has been surrounded by love & support for their entire existence, and it will only continue to grow as they continue their journey as life partners.
